It is straightforward, accurate, and detailed. Unfortunately, it draws heavily on reports and transcripts which are taken verbatim.The killer, variously known as the Ypsilanti Ripper, the Michigan Murderer, and the Co-Ed Killer, turned out to (allegedly) be a man by the name of John Norman Collins (later John Norman Chapman), a seemingly charming young psychopath who apparently had a bizarre hatred for women with pierced ears and women on their periods.Finally, in 1969, police caught a break and arrested John Norman Collins.
