I pulled out the relay, looked at it and put it back. Then I hooked up a battery charger, and the relay was clicking when I hit starter button.Have you checked the voltage at the battery when it is idling. High or low voltage can cause plug misfire and sputtering. The battery should read approximately 12.5-12.8 volts DC when everything is off. It should read between 14 and 15 VDC at the battery when at 1/2 throttle.
