About Mastercode. The Mastercode must be between 4 and 8 digits, and you must program it directly at the lock (not through the Premis app). The Mastercode is only used when adding and deleting user codes directly at the lock, and it cannot unlock the door (unless the same code is programmed as a user code — not recommended).
