Just got a new Kimber Micro 380, my first semi-automatic, joining a couple of S&W .38 revolvers. I have not shot it yet but have many questions. First. The slide is hard to rack. As for racking the slide, it is not about strength, or the gun, it is about technique.From hanging out on the Kimber Talk forum, it has become standard to break-in the Micro 9 with 124gr ammo as has been mentioned. Also, shoot the thing 'wet' during break-in, firm wrist and tight grip. Another trick is to use a Dremel with felt tip and Flitz to polish the feed ramp and inside of the chamber.
