Exotics quests are easy if you collect ahead of time. Once you get a request, everything stops spawning, except maybe 1 of each item and you have to look thru hell and high water for it. Plumes, for example, I collect all thru chapters 2 & 3, when those damn egrets, herons, and spoonbills are everywhere. In the first exotics list, I have 24 out of 30 marked whenever I skin an egret or collect a flower. Thing is, I only completed 1 set of snowy egrets and 7 orchids. Obviously if I don't get the rest of the egrets of the right kind (small and reddish) and orchids it won't count even if the marker sets 30/30.
