Upgraded to 4.56 gears this summer and now pleased with the power return.Although since the bead area can vary in thickness you may see this wheel listed as a +3 through -2 or -3 offset, or a zero offset as 4.4-4.6" or so backspacing. A 2.5 to 3-inch leveling kit can easily accommodate 35s. A leveling kit is the most affordable and accessible option to follow.Feb 18, 2023 · You do in fact need a 4in lift to clear 35's as well as trimming. The amount of trimming needed depends on use, driving style, spring rate, vehicle weight, wheel backspacing, tire width, etc. The issue being overlooked here is that the truck in question has tires that do not fit with the use of most drivers. New 35" spare went up into place with no problems. There's about 1/4" between the new spare and the hitch. Truck is a 2021 Silverado 1500 RST. 4" BDS lift running Toyo 35x12.5x18 tires. You can fit 35s on a 4.5in lift with STOCK offset wheels. -12 and 35s won't work unless you want to cut up your truck. since the zone lift pushes your front track out a good bit.
