Not sure if it was SteamOS or Yuzu update that fixed it. I did not test all combinations but there definitely was a time where disabling SMT increased performance in Yuzu by a mile. Like making BotW playable, Links Awakening running at 60 etc.
Set the gpu to 900mhz (not powertools, just in the normal settings) Cryoutilities 2.0 also helps in my opinion. Made botw playable at mostly 30 fps for me. Sometimes mods help, e.g.: 60fps patch for link's awakening.
